Manda began her artistic career as a dance major at Columbia College Chicago. It wasn’t until after college she immersed her creativity into mixed media, acrylic based art. Her untamed and self taught style allow her to execute the whimsical, unique, and bohemian inspired paintings that serve to aesthetically please and inspire her audience.
Her work can currently be seen at The Cafeteria, located on Newbury Street in Boston, Massachusetts. She participated in Art Prize 2013 where her work was installed at the St. Cecilia Music Hall in Grand Rapids, Michigan and is currently working on her next exhibition that will be at The Press Room in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. You can also catch a glimpse of her work in the waters of New Hampshire’s local surf spots. Manda constantly accepts commissioned work from local surfers decorating their boards with acrylic based paint pens.
Some of Manda’s most current projects include recycled and refurbished furniture and collaborative projects with her dad Andrew Valeri involving his wood shop, and drift wood art. Never limiting herself to one medium or one surface, Manda’s art is constantly evolving and immersing to different subjects and areas of creativity.
